Adnan Ahmed, M.D., F.A.C.P., is a former Assistant Professor of medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He is a specialist in clinical hypertension as designated by the American Society of Hypertension.

Dr. Ahmed graduated from the University of Karachi & Dow Medical College in 1987, earning his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees. Throughout his career he has received several awards and recognitions including the Physician’s Recognition Award by the American Medical Association.

He currently serves as a member of several professional organizations including Renal Physicians Association, American Society of Hypertension, American College of Physicians, and American Heart Association.

Throughout his career he has been involved in various research projects with numerous publications and presentations to his credit.
